Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research (FNLCR), formerly named the Frederick Cancer Research and Development Center from its establishment in 1972 as part of Nixon's War on Cancer, and renamed the Frederick Cancer Research Center in 1981, located in Frederick, Maryland. Its current name was established in 2012. The National Cancer Institute's laboratories and administration are housed on the Frederick campus, and is referred to by the moniker "NCI-Frederick." The land and buildings were originally part of the US Army Fort Detrick, home of the US' biological and chemical warfare research unit until its discontinuation in 1969.

The FNLCR is a public-private institution similarly structured as the Los Alamos National Laboratory, and is managed by the biomedical research arm of the defense contractor Leidos, formerly SAIC (Science Applications International Corporation), itself a branch of Lockheed-Martin.
